Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Operations Specialist to join our growing team in support of our federal program.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful, mission-critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces and visual components for Microsoft Power Platform applications.
- Create graphics, presentations, and visual assets for reports, briefings, executive communications, and other program deliverables.
- Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual standards across all program deliverables.
- Support communication management, knowledge management, and program reporting activities.
- Develop, review, and produce external-facing communication products, including press releases, brochures, web content, social media posts, and public information materials.
- Coordinate external-facing content with the Marketing Division to ensure compliance with branding guidelines, messaging standards, and approval processes.
- Support the development of engaging, accurate, and audience-focused communication products.
- Collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to communicate key initiatives, accomplishments, and organizational objectives through effective visual and written communications.
- Provide support and expertise in assigned domain.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
- Special projects as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design and visual communication using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience designing user interfaces (UI) and visual assets for Microsoft Power Platform applications or other web-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of branding principles, visual identity standards, and corporate communication best practices.
- Excellent visual design skills, including typography, color theory, layout, and information design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create content for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience creating presentations, reports, infographics, and executive briefing materials.
- Knowledge of digital communications, web content development, and social media content management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and organizational stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems and collaboration platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in user interface (UI) design, graphic design, content creation, visual communications, or brand support.
- Adobe Certified Professional certification (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop) required.
- Experience designing user interfaces and visual components for Microsoft Power Platform applications or comparable enterprise applications.
- Experience creating graphics, presentations, executive briefings, reports, and other communication materials.
- Experience developing external-facing communication products, including press releases, brochures, web content, social media content, and public information materials.
- Experience ensuring compliance with organizational branding guidelines, messaging standards, and communication policies.
- Experience supporting communication management, knowledge management, and organizational reporting initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with marketing, communications, and program leadership to develop effective communication strategies.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, client-focused environments.
- Experience supporting federal programs preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience; or
- Master's degree (MA/MS) from an accredited college or university with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience; or
- A relevant technical certification (e.g., Adobe Certified Professional, Certified Graphic Designer (CGD), or similar) with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree.
Work Location and Schedule
- Washington, DC (Hybrid/Remote)
- Monday – Friday 8AM – 5:30PM EST
- Work schedules and arrangements (remote/hybrid) may be adjusted based on client and program needs

Compensation
Salary range reflects our commitment to pay equity and transparency. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, certifications, labor qualifications, geographic location and contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
