We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Recruiting Intern to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Recruiting Intern to support our internal recruiting and HR team through the end of the summer. This internship provides hands-on experience in talent acquisition, candidate screening, and HR operations. The intern will gain exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle while assisting with day-to-day hiring activities in a professional environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating job descriptions as needed.
- Post job openings on the company career site and external job boards (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, etc.).
- Maintain and update job postings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and external job boards to ensure accuracy and that all postings remain up to date.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on role requirements.
- Schedule pre-screen interviews, formal interviews, and onboarding orientations.
- Conduct initial pre-screen by video and/or voice calls to assess candidate qualifications for specific roles.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on candidates to the HR Manager and hiring managers.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure timely updates and a positive candidate experience.
- Update candidate statuses in the ATS and generate pipeline reports as needed.
- Support the HR team and management with general administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- 1–3 years of business-related experience (customer service, administrative, HR, recruiting, or similar experience preferred).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak professionally and confidently with candidates via Microsoft Teams and phone.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn and use applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.
- Professional demeanor and comfort interacting with candidates in a business setting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Learning Opportunities

Education
- High School Diploma required. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field; and 3 years of business-related experience, or 1 year of HR and Recruiting experience.
