Role Overview
We are seeking a Jr. Engineer UiRPA to join our growing team in support of our federal program.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful, mission-critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Focus on the technical construction and maintenance of software bots.
- Build and unit-test automations based on design specifications.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects in RPA solutions.
- Deploy RPA components in collaboration with program management and IT support teams.
- Support the maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of existing automation solutions.
- Document automation components and technical changes as required.
- Provide support and expertise in assigned domain.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
- Special projects as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in UiPath RPA development, including workflow creation, debugging, testing, and deployment.
- Knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA) concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with software development, application scripting, and automation technologies.
- Ability to develop, test, troubleshoot, and optimize automated business processes.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles, including unit testing and version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to interpret technical design specifications and translate them into functional automation solutions.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, including workflow documentation and deployment procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in software development, application scripting, robotic process automation, or bot development.
- UiPath Certified RPA Associate (UiRPA) certification, or equivalent current UiPath certification (such as UiPath Automation Developer or UiPath RPA Developer Foundation), is required.
- Comparable certifications or demonstrated equivalent experience in robotic process automation may be considered alternatives.
- Experience developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining UiPath automation workflows.
- Experience deploying and supporting RPA solutions in collaboration with project management and IT support teams.
- Experience maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing existing automation solutions.
- Experience documenting automation workflows, technical changes, and deployment activities.
- Familiarity with source control, software testing, and change management processes is preferred.
- One (1) year of experience supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) environment is preferred.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, client-focused environments.
- Experience supporting federal programs preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience; or
- Master's degree (MA/MS) from an accredited college or university with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience; or
- A relevant technical certification (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Associate) with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree.
Work Location and Schedule
- Washington, DC (Hybrid/Remote)
- Monday – Friday 8AM – 5:30PM EST
- Work schedules and arrangements (remote/hybrid) may be adjusted based on client and program needs

Compensation
Salary range reflects our commitment to pay equity and transparency. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, certifications, labor qualifications, geographic location and contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
