Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our growing team in support of our corporate office / federal program.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful, mission-critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the SASO program.
  • Lead release and change management activities, including:
    • Coordinating with ADE and Volpe on deployment execution.
    • Developing release plans and schedules in collaboration with LOBs and deployment teams.
    • Presenting release plans and securing approvals from the ECMB.
    • Managing release-related communications.
  • Collaborate with AIT management and serve as a representative of AIT across various platforms and forums.
  • Partner with other FAA program offices such as RCISS and ADE teams to support infrastructure changes and requests.
  • Work with ESB to facilitate new software approvals and software upgrades.
  • Coordinate with AIT, AIS, ADE, and Volpe teams on POA&Ms and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
  • Support the coordination and implementation of AIT initiatives.
  • Collaborate with security and privacy teams on annual assessments.
  • Create, update, and maintain interface documentation.
  • Coordinate with ADE to resolve and complete pending requests.
  • Partner with the EOC team and other stakeholders during system outages, including participation in bridge calls.
  • Provide support and expertise in assigned domain
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
  • Special projects as needed

Required Skills

  • Prior experience supporting FAA programs or systems.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying and supporting applications in a production environment.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop clear, accurate, and well-structured reports, summaries, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, records, and deliverables in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with data validation, records management, and quality control processes.
  • Ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and emerging issues, and support corrective actions or process improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership or board-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to support stakeholder coordination, including preparing meeting materials, status updates, and action items.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal team members and Government stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 compliance requirements for documentation and published content (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience supporting software projects compliance, policy, regulatory, or analytical functions.
    Experience conducting research, analyzing data, maintaining records, and supporting written analytical products.
  • Experience supporting government, regulatory, or compliance-focused programs is preferred.
  • Experience working with government data, financial compliance data, or revenue-related analysis is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, client-focused environments
  • Experience supporting federal programs preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited institution

Work Location and Schedule

  • McLean, VA (Hybrid/Remote)
  • Monday – Friday 8AM – 5:30PM EST
  • Work schedules and arrangements (remote/hybrid) may be adjusted based on client and program needs

Compensation

  • The likely salary range or Hourly rate for this position is $120k - $130k

Salary range reflects our commitment to pay equity and transparency. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, certifications, labor qualifications, geographic location and contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

  • Ability to successfully pass a federal background check
